High Quality? or Low Cost?

When it comes to cabinets in multi-family construction projects, decisions are sometimes price-driven and quality takes a back seat.  To meet budgets, the cabinet program might not be the best it could be.  And particularly in the world of Build-2-Rent projects, low-quality cabinets show their true colors quickly. Early onset problems from poor construction include shoddy appearance, increased maintenance calls, and expensive replacement costs due far earlier than anticipated.

Unfortunately, organizations are often forced to choose between high quality and low cost.

You can have both.

Introducing Sauder Cabinetry. Sauder delivers high-quality cabinet programs at extremely competitive prices.  Specifically designed for large format, multi-unit, and build-to-rent businesses, they are changing the way these businesses secure cabinet programs for their projects.

It’s simple.  No one can match the quality, production capacity, and delivery times of this 90-year-old company with a 5.2 million sq ft production campus featuring state-of-the-art robotics technology.  Say goodbye to supply chain issues and inferior imported products. These cabinets are American Made and Assembled entirely at ONE location in Archbold, OH.

Read on, and then contact us so we can show you how to execute your project’s cabinet program with higher quality and lower cost.

Attractive. Functional. Durable.

The styling of the Sauder cabinet is current and appealing. All cabinets are frameless, shaker or slab style, with full access and full overlay styling. There are two series of cabinets: FORERUNNER and EVOLVE. Forerunner features three popular colors: Glacier White, Modern Grey, and Slate. Evolve features wood grain options Graphite, Driftwood, Hudson Oak, Ashton Oak, and a smooth option in Saylor Blue. Side by side, these cabinets are comparable to products 3x the cost.

On the construction side, all cabinet panel and rail components are joined with engineered dowels, glue, and minimal screws. Cabinets have 6-way adjustable, soft close hinges and 5/8” melamine laminate box construction. All frameless case construction is made from commercial grade furniture board with laminated, water-resistant surfaces. All cabinets are fully assembled and install with ease.

Sauder cabinets are designed and constructed specifically to withstand the rigors of multi-unit construction, and the everyday severe use to come (especially rentals!!). The bottom of the box is edge banded and virtually eliminates the “pops” that occur on an inferior box surface should an installer slide the box across the subfloor. The top is edge banded as well sealing the box making it impervious to moisture and the elements.

Design and Installation Services

The Annandale / Sauder partnership delivers an important high-level, value-add to your project. We will certainly provide cabinetry quotes and supply programs based on the architect’s specifications and design. But with each project, our years of expertise are at your disposal.  We are always designing with the installation in mind, eliminating on-site headaches that inevitably occur with ill-fated, neglected layouts.  Our years of master carpentry expertise coupled with national design recognition can make your cabinetry program even better.  This is part of the way we interact with our clients, and there is no charge for our design consultation services.

Our sister carpentry company can also provide installation services.  We have a training facility at which our installers are trained on the Annandale way of appropriate cabinetry installation.  Proper anchors, level boxes, clean job site, and superior speed. Even the best cabinet program’s success is at the mercy of the installation crew. Let us provide assurance that the cabinet package you have ordered is installed to the highest standards.

ECO-Friendly

Sauder was founded on the principles of stewardship and servanthood. Three generations later, the family continues to honor these values with environmentally responsible processes that endeavor to preserve the future of our world. In the normal course of operations, Sauder reuses or recycles 98 percent of the solid waste generated at the Archbold facility, and 40 percent of the plant’s energy is generated from recycling. The onsite cogeneration power plant burns more than 145 tons of sawdust each day and converts it into electricity that powers production lines and heats buildings.

This extraordinary commitment to the environment has earned Sauder the KCMA-ESP (Environmental Stewardship Program) certification, reflecting Sauder’s aggressive commitment to preservation and conservation in every corner of their business.
